A new K-6 community school is under construction just a few blocks away from the Central Plaza in the heart of Rancho Viejo. Scheduled to open for the fall semester of 2010, the school will initially host grades K-6 and will grow to K-8.

The Santa Fe Public School District hosted a groundbreaking ceremony in September.

This school will join a comprehensive array of academic options already available within Rancho Viejo, providing education for every level from pre-kindergarten through high school, and from Santa Fe Community College to the Institute of American Indian Arts.
